Pastor Frank was born in Charleston, SC. Following his undergraduate work in Charleston he left for seminary in 1978. After 21 years living and serving in other cities he returned to Charleston in 1997 to teach at his alma mater, Charleston Southern University. In 2000 he became pastor of Rutledge Baptist Church which is now Grace on the Ashley Baptist Church. He served those two churches for 18 years before coming to Wando Woods Church.

Frank received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Wake Forest, NC), and holds two Masters degrees: a Master of Divinity from Southeastern, and a Master of Church Music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY.

Frank and his wife Judy were married in 1975. They have two children, Stephen, a filmmaker in Chicago and Christina, a singer/songwriter in Nashville, TN.

Frank enjoys walking and running, good music from (almost) all genres, traveling and chocolate chip cookies.
